Our flagship customer service programme Glasgow Welcomes: Service Excellence encourages participants to think about customer service in a new way. And in a way that delivers fantastic experiences through people, and creates ambassadors for service excellence for Glasgow as a tourism destination. 

The Glasgow Welcomes: Service Excellence suite of courses, workshops and online module offers:

  • events which are designed to complement and support any existing in-house learning and development within businesses large and small, across all tourism and hospitality sectors;
  • the opportunity to network and share with other top Glasgow businesses.

Glasgow Welcomes, the city’s tourism service initiative, is supported by the industry-led Glasgow Tourism Leadership Group, which includes: Glasgow City Council, Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Enterprise and VisitScotland, along with Skills Development Scotland. The initiative is managed by VisitScotland, on behalf of industry and partners.
