Glasgow Employer Board and Youth Employment Action Group

Alternatively, the Glasgow Employer Board (GEB) is a unique employer-led forum which sits within Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. Through the GEB, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce developed the Youth Employment Action Group (YEAG) giving employers in the city the opportunity to work in partnership with the Employer Board and other stakeholders to shape and design a programme of recommendations to improve the delivery and effectiveness of employment and skills services within the city.

The GEB has a membership of over 40 organisations from across the city and is co-chaired by Patricia Rainey, Cluster Director for HR, Scotland/North of England of Marriott International and Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
